The Department of International Relations at San Francisco State University welcomes Laura Ghiron, MPH as a 2026 Visiting Scholar.

Laura Ghiron is President of Partners in Expanding Health Quality and Access, a US-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that stewards and supports the global work of the ExpandNet network. ExpandNet has been working since 2003 to advance both the science and practice of scaling up successfully tested health and development interventions. Laura has worked for almost 30 years across Asia, Africa, and Latin America to advance the scaling of interventions to improve women’s health as well as other sectors such as education, environmental conservation and more.
