Overview

CURE promotes undergraduate research in all disciplines across the College of Liberal & Creative Arts. On May 1, students from all disciplines within Liberal and Creative Arts had the opportunity to showcase their work for the campus community. Students from the International Relations Department's Senior Thesis class, IR 550, presented on their research during the event. Their research ranged from indigenous activism in the Amazon Rainforest, to political unrest in Serbia, and water rights in and around Egypt.

Students from the IR 550 class hold their presentation posters for the camera. They are standing and kneeling in rows, and are smiling. Dean Nwankwo and Professor Burcu Ellis stand to the right and smile at the camera.
Three students from IR 550 stand and face the camera. They are smiling and holding their presentation posters. Professor Skonieczny stands just behind them, also smiling to the camera.
Two students in matching glasses, blazers, turtlenecks, and slacks stand and smile for the camera, holding their presentation posters. Professor Burcu Ellis stands between and behind them, smiling.
A student from IR 550 faces his research poster, gesturing and explaining his work to another three students, who cluster around him and watch intently.
Professor See-Won Byun and student Tara Shafie stand in front of Shafie's research poster. Both are smiling and looking at the camera.
