Past: The Distrust behind the Upheaval in Peru

The lack of faith in institutions that led to the current shutdown of Peru by disgruntled rural citizen was also the major factor behind contraband, according to the conclusions of alumnus Isaac Cisneros’s 2022 M.A. thesis. Cisneros will discuss why Peruvians so distrust their institutions and the implications of that distrust.
