Dr. Amy Skonieczny is an Associate Professor of International Relations at San Francisco State University. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. She currently teaches classes in U.S. foreign policy, international political economy and research and writing in International Relations.
Her research interests include the social construction of U.S. trade politics, societal influences on U.S. foreign policy, and social theory and narratives in global political economy. Her most recent article titled ‘Interrupting Inevitability: Globalization and Resistance’ appeared in the journal Alternatives: Global, Local Political. She has also published in International Studies Quarterly and regularly reviews manuscripts for Foreign Policy Analysis.
